A CROW, A RAT, A SNAKE, AND... TRUMP?

A crow is a crow. Poor crows, they are so smart, and yet so misunderstood. 🥺 A rat is a rat. Clever little creatures. A snake? Masters of survival. And then, there’s Donald Trump—a kind of human being that can not possibly think of anyone else except himself, and his own little selfish happiness. For anyone in doubt, just ask Melania. 🥺 Although, mmm, those two do deserve each other. 🤣😂 And you know what? Better yet, the millions of people who still see in him the answer to all their problems, despite his very low ethical and moral standard.
Yes, those millions of supporters have been offered and sold everything from a fake university, to branded steaks, to gold color, ´T´ motif high-tops, to digital trading cards. Even after all of that, they continue to support him. My God, the Kool-Aid is strong in that part of the world.

Now, in another episode of Trump’s soap-opera-like career, we find him involved in a new, very sticky situation. (Why does everything around him feel so dirty? 🤢🤮🥴😵💫🫤💩) This time, it’s all about his social media company, DJT (Donald J. Trump), which is trading on NASDAQ.
Trump, the republican presidential nominee, owns nearly 57% of the company's shares, a stake worth about $1.7 billion at Thursday’s closing price. But here’s the kicker—the company has reported a $344 million loss on revenue that didn’t even reach $2 million for the first half of 2024.
Yet the company still has a market capitalization of almost $3 billion. What is keeping the stock up in value? Yes, you guessed it; the same fools who believe their savior will “Make America Great Again,” by dragging the old USA back in time to a moment in history when everything was supposedly great
Ahhh, when was this?
This brings me to a bet I made with a friend: I argue there’s no way Trump will sell his stock outright. Hell no. Although, I am sure this is the only thing he wants to do. It would look bad, you know? Instead, he’ll likely employ his well-known strategy—using his inner circle, his minions, to quietly offload the stock before the whole house of cards crumbles. If that happens, would anyone hold him accountable? Would his supporters finally turn against him after another horrible scandal?
Of course not. Not at all. He will just ride into the sunset, saddled with bags of gold and millions of votes from loyal supporters who continue to look the other way. It’s a tragic and sad chapter in American history, but the real tragedy is for the millions who continue to believe in the fantasy he so expertly sells.

Thanks for reading. Abrazos.
