A SIMPLE AND BRUTAL EQUATION: CAPITALISM = GREED = NEED FOR GROWTH = HUMANITY´S COLLAPSE

I am looking straight down into the precipice of our civilization-defining moment. Yeah, I know. It sounds a bit too much, right? But I believe it.

Our relentless pursuit of growth. 1% growth. It´s not enough! Not enough wealth being created! Scream the headlines. 2% growth. It doesn't provide a good return on investment, claim the experts. 3% growth is adequate, according to most. Growth disguised as progress; is nothing more than a sophisticated mechanism of self-destruction.

PSYCHOLOGICAL VIRUS

I´ll tell you why. Capitalism isn't just an economic system, in modern life it's a psychological virus that has transformed human wants into a global algorithm of consumption. We've created a meta-organism that doesn't just allow greed; 💵🤑 it demands, rewards, and worships it. Every institutional mechanism, from stock markets to technological innovation, has been perfectly programmed to maximize extraction (profit) 💰💹 while minimizing long-term consequences (Global warming, environmental destruction, humanity depletion). 💀☠️

It´s a magic trick. What's the illusion? Believing we're advancing while we're actually consuming and undermining the foundations of our own future.

Consider the perfect storm we've got today: Artificial Intelligence, our latest technological achievement, is now a sophisticated tool for manipulating human consciousness. These algorithms don't intend to do harm, they don't know what that is. They simply optimize for consumption. They're reducing our attention spans, fragmenting our critical thinking, and transforming us into efficient consumption machines.

Meanwhile, our planet is collapsing.

The growth path - The 3% growth path - we've normalized over the past 400 years isn't progress—it's a death march. We've elevated short-term profit to a new religion level, where economic metrics matter more than ecological survival. Corporations, legally considered "persons," have become parasitic entities that consume resources faster than nature can regenerate for humans that are constantly pushed to buy, buy, buy. 💵🤑💰

Technology accelerates, humanity diminishes, and the planet´s ecology crumbles.

Here comes the twist. Are you ready? We're not heading towards a catastrophe—we're already inside it. We're falling so fast, gathering speed by the second, and we can't even comprehend the magnitude of our systematic self-destruction. Capitalism has transformed our destructive instincts from a personal weakness (greed)  into a global operating principle.(Wealth matters most.)

We're not just consuming resources. We're consuming ourselves.

This isn't a critique—it's a diagnosis. Our current system is a self-cannibalizing organism, bit by bit destroying itself, and the ecological balance, our psychological integrity, and in the end, whatever potential of having a wonderful, thriving planet we had.

The equation is brutally simple: Capitalism = Greed = Need for Growth = Humanity's Collapse.

The choice isn't about saving the planet—the planet will survive. It will still be here. It's about whether humanity will be a part of its future. Well, only if we had a choice… and time. For I believe that time is not just running out, it's already gone.
