I AM 56

That´s right. And one of the first thoughts that comes to mind is, how many more of these do I have left? Impossible to know. So, what to do with whatever I have left? Two things; family and writing.

FAMILY:

I am the father of two incredible kids ( 😍😁) that have turned my life upside down. And because of it, I am a better writer today than I ever was. Moment of truth: I didn´t want to have children. Why bring them into a world like the one we live in, full of hate and despair and never ending human needs and wants and consumption and waste? (As I see it 😞)Well, because of the love I have for my wife ( 💕) . It´s as simple as that. So my family will be at the center of this voyage, always believing in me, always accepting me even if I am a bit weird. Mine is a long story that I will share with you bit by bit, blog after blog. There really is no planned strategy to this, except the fact that I will talk about life experiences and how they influenced me to write the stories that I have written. Some of them you can find in the Project pages.

WRITING:

Yeah, that frog is me sometimes (😂 ). I DO remember using those things to type my end of the year essays in HS. My, how the world has changed! ( 😮)

I grew up in New York. I went to Baruch College where I got my accounting degree. After the war ( In 1991 - guess which one it was? And Yes, I will talk about that experience in another blog), I got my MBA. I did like business, a long time ago, but I always knew, deep inside of me, that one day I would begin my writing life. 13 years ago I changed everything to become a ´WRITER´. I don´t make a lot of money from it, but I am happy. (Yes, that dreadful reality; the MONEY thing.😒). But because of it now I have my family and I am content, I have found my balance. I know I am doing exactly what I need to do, what I have to do, with the rest of life that I have in front of me. ( Unless something incredible happens within the next 30 years that allows life to be prolonged indefinitely - but that is another story.)

So there it is, I hope to be able to connect with you through my stories, through my life experiences. Thanks in advance for taking the time to be a part of this blog. I hope, as a writer, to be able to influence and inspire other writers to not be afraid to create, to share with the world your own powerful stories of love, compassion, of family, of aliens, of zombies, of superheroes, of animation, manga, drama, whatever you want and like to thing and feel about.

And when you think about it, here we have the basis for a beautiful drama about a life story, with interesting characters, (My wife 💕 my kids) each with their own dreams and desires, each at different stages of life, surrounded by a society which is not their own, (For some of us), but which we all have to adjust to. All of this means conflict will arise within the confines of their small apartment. Can you imagine the incredible shots at Tokyo´s Ueno Park during Sakura in that beautiful sun drenched landscape? Or a dramatic ending on top of Tokyo Tower (or at the base - which ever is cheaper😂). Or walking late at night through the empty, dark neighborly streets, having a conversation with your teenage boy about the meaning of it all. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that we now reside in Tokyo.
