LEARNING RIGHT FROM WRONG: THE TALE OF DONALD TRUMP

I had to do it. I really wanted to find a positive spin to this Trump chaotic moment in history, and I think I have found it. What was it about George Washington that has made him so endearing in American history? Besides his willingness to surrender the power of the presidency when his period was over, he is well known to all children for not lying.

Contrast this to our modern day, Mr. 45th, who not only lies, but insults, calls people names, demeans others, attacks women, is under investigation for many different crimes, has been convicted of others etc..., the list goes on and on. Well, maybe this is the main reason why he is here with us today, to demonstrate to all, young and old, how NOT to behave. Isn´t that great? 🥰🥰🥰 Thanks Mr. Trump. 😜😜😜

Then I wondered, what would be the best way to bring this message to a young audience? The clear answer; a poem for children. It might make also for a really good children´s illustrated book. 😃😃🤗🤗 We will see.

Learning Right from Wrong: The Tale of Donald Trump

Donald Trump really likes to lie,

He tells stories that just don’t fly.

He insults people, big and small,

That’s no way to act at all.

He makes fun of people, he makes a scene,

Laughs at soldiers, why is he so mean?

He says bad things about women too,

That’s something we should never do.

He yells at people, calls them names,

But being mean brings only shame.

He teases people for their skin and place,

We all deserve love, no matter our race.

Donald mocks those who fight for peace,

They risk their lives, while he lives at ease.

Our soldiers work hard to keep us free,

Donald stayed home, just watched TV.

Donald eats fast food day and night,

That's why his suits just don’t fit right.

He thinks he’s perfect, but can't you see?

His orange skin and hair disagree.

There is one reason why Donald is here,

To teach all children, now that’s clear,

He says, “Don’t do the bad things I do,

Learn from my actions, follow what's true.¨

Thank you, Donald, for showing the way,

Of how NOT to act, speak, or play.

We´ve learned a lesson, clear and bright,

That kindness and truth are always right.

I truly believe this is a great way to honor our 45th president into posterity. Children will quickly learn how not to behave because of him. Isn´t that great? 🤗🤗🤗😜😜😜
