THE ´100 BLOG POST´ ACCOMPLISHMENT

My only regret? That I didn´t start doing it earlier. I am a writer after all. Well, I guess it had to be a natural desire to clearly define who I was, once I and my family, moved to Japan. The idea to do it appeared during one of my Japanese classes. We were in the middle of discussing objectives and life goals and it came to me: demonstrate you are a writer. And so it began.

100! Are you kidding me? If every post is around 3 pages long, then the total would almost equal the average length of a book - 300 pages. As a writer I wanted to show myself that I could do it, that I had within me the capacity to prevail in this endeavor. There were moments when I thought, ´what am I going to write about now?´

Well, in these tumultuous times, there is always a topic to discuss. A thought to bring out into the light. An idea for a story. 100 blog posts. Wow! In the end, it is a reflection, an interesting analysis of who I am. (Kind of self-centered, ah?) From the beginning, this blog has been a determined effort to showcase my writing abilities, the design of my thoughts, the construction of my inner arguments and controversies and beliefs and ideas, my creativity, my discomforts, my prejudices, my fears.

The main objective has always been, and it continues to be, to demonstrate myself, to present myself. WritingLifeMovies is my business card. You wanna know if I can write? Please, allow yourself to read on. Within you will find all kinds of topics that, based on my feelings and instincts, needed to be discussed, talked about. In one year and five months, I completed what I set out to do. And I love the result. I do look forward to the next 100.

Added bonus; I hope one day my kids will get a kick out of reading all the crazy things, comments and thoughts that their daddy wanted to share with the world. By doing this, they will learn about who he is.
