´Because the future hangs in the balance´ 

This is a world increasingly being shaped by the elites and the advanced technologies their companies are creating. These powerful people seem to be preparing for something big, and the reality is they are not concerned at all about what might happen to the rest of us. While they are buying underground bunkers and planning their own survival, the rest of us are left wondering about our future. It sure seems like they know something is coming, and they're making sure they'll be safe. 

Now, here's the thing: we don't have to sit back and accept whatever future they're planning. We are the 98% – and that means we have power. Real power. Our collective voice, our shared hopes, and our determination can shape a different path. We're going to explore practical, concrete steps that common everyday people can take to secure a dignified future for ourselves and our families. No more being spectators in our own story. Why allow a young, white, male techno-elite to decide our future? It's time to become the architects of our own collective destiny.

The book "The Coming Wave" hints at some pretty scary potential futures. But futures aren't set in stone. They're created by choices – our choices. And right now, we choose to fight for a world where technology serves humanity, not the other way around, not only the elites. 

This blog is a call to action, a clear message to raise awareness, to come together as a community, and take steps to protect what we all share as human beings. 

The Power of Unity 

The first step toward change is awareness. People must recognize the stakes and understand how unchecked power can manipulate technology and systems to serve a privileged few. We must start with: 

● Community Building: Form local and global networks that prioritize education, activism, and collaboration. From town halls to social media campaigns, awareness begins when people come together to exchange ideas and strategies. An organization like Pause AI (https://pauseai.info/) is a great example. 

● Unified Resistance: Collective action; protests, petitions, and boycotts. These put pressure on institutions to prioritize ethical practices and to create systems that closely monitor technology and ensure it is used responsibly. 

The power of the people lies in their numbers. There is no elite class that can withstand the determined will of a united, informed majority. 

The Need for Ethical Infiltration 

Beyond public resistance, there’s a need for strategic, behind-the-scenes action. If elite-controlled systems dominate, countering their influence requires intelligence and planning.

● Planting Seeds in Power Circles: Encourage individuals aligned with ethical goals to enter positions of influence - government, corporate leadership, and key tech roles. These insiders can act as "ethical saboteurs," advocating for responsible policies and exposing harmful practices. 

● 2nd option: Contact, convince and inspire individuals - lone wolves - who are already inside the system, who have seen the inner workings and felt the weight of its ethical decay. These people, sympathetic to the cause, are the ones who while operating on their own, can disrupt the system from the inside. This isn’t about causing chaos, it’s about strategic interventions that prevent or tear down harmful actions before they grow too powerful.

Guerrilla Resistance

In extreme cases, where direct democratic action and infiltration fail, more covert methods may be required to challenge oppressive systems. 

● Decentralized Action: Small, agile groups can focus on targeted resistance, disrupting elite agendas through non-violent but impactful tactics like cyber activism, whistleblowing, and information leaks. These groups can also act as safeguards, monitoring elite actions and intervening when harmful technologies threaten humanity's well-being. 

● The Long Game: Like modern-day special forces, these tactics require patience, precision, and a deep commitment to ethical principles. Their goal is not destruction, but correction, keeping power in check when all else fails. 

● If all else fails: An armed uprising that gives humanity´s majority a survival chance, must also be developed. 

A Collective Responsibility 

Technology, power, and influence are neutral forces. It is our collective responsibility to steer them toward positive change. 

● Demand Regulation: Advocate for laws and policies that prioritize transparency, accountability, and ethical AI development.

● Push for Wealth Redistribution: Address global inequality by taxing mega-corporations and reinvesting in marginalized communities. 

● Cultivate Ethical Leadership: Support leaders who prioritize humanity over profit, and ensure diverse perspectives are represented in positions of power.

The future is not something we wait for; it’s something we create. By combining public awareness, grassroots action, and strategic resistance, we can challenge the systems that threaten to divide us, and build a world where humanity thrives as a collective force. 

The Black Swan Moment 

Every era faces its "black swan" moment. A sudden, unexpected event that changes the course of history. Let this be ours. Let this be the moment we come together to rewrite the narrative, refusing to let power, greed, and technology control us. Together, we can ensure the future is a shared journey, guided by compassion, empathy, justice, and human values. 

Memorandum: Yes, this last message is for you. 

The one reading this, the one inside already. 

You know who you are. You’re the one with an ethical soul,

 who feels the pain of the majority. You’ve seen, heard, 

and felt what the 98% endure. You’ve heard the mocking words 

they used to dismiss us -  ¨the hordes¨, “the common people.” 

By now you must’ve listened to their insults, 

and you know how repugnant they can be when they reference us. 

But remember, we are your family, your friends, your community. 

Don’t forget us. In the future, we may need your help, 

your voice, and your action. The time may come when 

you’ll need to stand up for what’s right, not just for yourself, 

but for all of us. Don’t turn away. The call to action is waiting for you.
